Normally for me, when I am choosing a detector, I will look for upgradeable types, which I personally feel is one of the most important criteria. Image after sometime, when the detector needs upgrade but you can't. Next comes the battery life which I perferred 24-hours type. Well, depends on individual, whether do you use it that long when you are using it. Both points Bounty Hunter and White's metal detector can provide me with that capabilities, Happy Treasure Hunting!
