Metal detecting is a serious hobby for many people in all areas of the world. From those who like to stroll along the beach just to see what they may find to those who venture out on a sort of treasure hunt. Having the correct detector can mean the difference between coming home empty handed or finishing your day with a bountiful of great value. Let’s take a look at the C. SCOPECS1220R metal detector and review the important elements of this particular make and model to see if this may be the one for you and your particular needs.

C-Scope CS1220R Metal Detector

Some of the elements that you may wish to consider when looking for a metal detector are how often you wish to venture out, where you wish to go, the possible weather conditions that may occur while you are outside and the sensitivity at which you feel you need for detection. Being comfortable while you search is also an important element. If you are to spend hours hunting, you will want a model which features that caters to the operator’s comfort. Lastly, while finding treasure does require a certain amount of skill, the device that you use will play an important role in your success.

The C.SCOPE CS1220R metal detector , manufactured by C.Scope known as being the world’s favorite metal detector is a highly adaptable specialized style metal detector.
Fairly easy to use, most search in ground mode which allows for maximum depth. When you come upon a good signal, you can then switch to discriminate mode which allows you to analyze that particular signal. It allows for manual control and has rather good audio discrimination.

C.SCOPE CS1220R Review

Discrimination is an important element of detecting since the signal received from any metal object emits its own characteristic phase shift. This model is able to distinguish between an aluminum pull tab and a coin. The operator can set the C.SCOPE CS1220R metal detector to remain quite if it reads the simple pull tab but to set off an alert for a denser object such as a coin. However, one must keep in mind that if set too low to ignore a pull tab, jewelry may be passed over as well. With the CS1220R, you can set this to give you high pitches for good targets and low pitches for objects you would not be interested in.

The operating System for the C.SCOPE CS1220R metal detector is a Non-Motion 17kHz. This runs on eight AA 1.5 volt batteries. The search head of this piece of equipment is a 20cm ISOCON head. You don’t have to keep the search-head ‘in motion which is a fine feature indeed. You can use the detector in undergrowth and bring the search-head to a stop over the area where you just barely make out a signal. Then you can switch in the target analysis side of the detector and decide whether you wish to dig or not. Rated rather well in sensitivity, this has twin channel ground discriminate modes.

Fairly light at 1.7 kg, this model is easy to transport and a rather good weight to hold and handle. The C.SCOPE CS1220R metal detector has some quality features. There is a super easy on/off switch, an LCD target Id and signal strength and a wide spectrum audio discrimination. For those who are seeking comfort as an important feature, this model has an adjustable stem length, which allows the users to adjust this to a length that feels just right. In addition, this feature allows for more than one user to be comfortable when using it.

C.SCOPE CS1220R Detector

There is a counterbalance stem with an arm rest which really helps out for those who will be spending quite a bit of time with this detector and don’t want those arms to tire out. There is also a headphone socket, which can come in very handy. The C.SCOPE CS1220R metal detector is ideal for those who are serous treasure hunters and want a piece of equipment that they can rely on. Since predicting the weather is a bit like trying to predict which treasures you will find, the C.SCOPE CS1220R metal detector is perfect in all terrain and weather conditions.

One of the fastest growing past times in America is using metal detectors. This is something fun that you can do with your family and your friends. You can also do it by yourself for a little bit of down time. You never know what you are going to find, so that makes it very fun. However, one question that gets asked a lot is, “How do I find some land to detect on?” This is a great question, because you are not allowed to go out and detect on just any land you see. The good news is that there are a few places that you can go that allow you to detect on their land.

How Do I Find Some Land

Whenever you get into metal detecting you are more than likely going to start off on your own land until you figure out how to use it. Of course, there is only so much you are going to find on your own land, so now that brings up the question, “How do I find some land to detect on?” First of all, we have to point out that this is a very good question, because you can not detect and dig on all the land that you come across. So when looking for land to detect on there are a few places you can rule out right away. First of all, you can not detect on federal land unless you have permission from the government. Also, you can not detect on other people’s private property unless you have their permission. Pretty much what that means is that you can not go digging up your friend’s back yard just for the fun of it. You have to get the person’s permission first. This rule also goes for schools and colleges.

Now let’s talk about a few of the places that you can dig and detect on. First of all, as we talked about before, you can detect on your own land. This is because it’s your land, you can do whatever you want to it. Also, for the most part, you can dig on any beach. After all, we see people digging in the sand all the time. This is a really good place to get in some good metal detecting. You never know what you will find. In some cities you can even dig and detect in city parks unless it is otherwise posted. Just because you have to get permission from a place first, does not mean that you can not detect there. It just means you need to ask first. Most of the time people are not going to have a problem with you detecting on their land.

Metal detecting is fun. You just have to be able to find places to do it. The rule of thumb is, if you are not sure if you are allowed to dig or detect there, then you should more than likely ask first. It is always better to be safe than sorry. It would be bad to get in trouble for digging some place that you are not allowed to dig. The good news is that there are many places around the world for you to dig at. This means that you are going to be able to find lot of different things, in lots of different places. When you first start out it could be hard, but over time you will start to understand where and where not to dig.

It use to be that whenever you wanted to get into metal detecting, you kind of had to go into it by yourself. Sure you had a manual on how to run the machine, but besides that you were on your own. However, now that more and more people are starting to use the internet, we are starting to see different types of clubs popping up everywhere, and this includes metal detecting clubs. These are clubs that you can find online (and some locally) that have a whole bunch of members that are into metal detecting. This is a good place for first time people that have never used a metal detector before.

Garrett GTI2500 Detector

Sometimes when you get started doing something new it can be scary if you do not have people there to help you out. The good news is that if you are getting into metal detectors, then you are going to be able to find a lot of metal detecting clubs online. These are great places for people who have been using metal detectors for a long time, and for people who are just starting out. For the people who have been using metal detectors for a long time, this is a great place for you to come and share your knowledge of your favorite hobby. This is your chance to help people out, and give back to your fellow man. For the people who are just now starting out, this is a good place to come and talk to people who have been using metal detectors for a long time. For any question you are going to have, more than likely these guys have lived through it. When you are first using metal detectors it can be hard to get the hang of them. Metal detecting clubs can help you get started.

Not only are metal detecting clubs good for answering questions about how to use a metal detector, but they are a good place to talk about what kind of metal detectors are the best. If you are looking into getting a metal detector this may be a good club to join first. You will be able to come on here and ask people questions about different models and makes of metal detectors. Another thing that makes metal detecting clubs so much fun is the stories you get to hear. A lot of these people use all their free time for metal detecting, and they have seen a lot of pretty funny things. A lot of these clubs will have different forums that you can join where you can start different topics. These topics could be about stories, FAQ, or what kind of model is the best to buy. As you can see, these clubs are just all around good places to start.

I have had a lot of different hobbies over my life time, but none of them have been as rewarding as metal detecting. Not only that, I have made a lot of good friends by going out and metal detecting. Online in the forums and in these clubs, you are going to talk to really nice people that want to help you. You are not going to just find metal and treasure whenever you are using metal detectors. You are going to find friends. Now that is the best kind of hobby I think that you can have, the one that gets you involved with other people.

There are a lot of great metal detectors out there on the market today, however, one brand name seems to stand above the rest. That name is C. Scope, and in the world of metal detectors it is a very well known name. This is a brand name that has been making high quality metal detectors for a long time now.

The reason why this is one of the most popular metal detectors to use, is because of how easy they are to use. People who have never used a metal detector before can pick it up and start using it with ease. Let this metal detector change the way you look at metal detectors forever.
