When you have a Minelab detector, you are sure to be interested in finding out about Coiltek Coils for Minelab metal detectors. You will want to look at DD coils if you are looking for a quiet coil that works well for ground mineralization and makes the most of the discrimination features of the Minelab. However, in regard to a Mono coil, this offer you the benefit of going deeper, although the tradeoff may be more noise. Let’s take a look at all of the possible Coiltek Coils for Minelab metal detectors to see which one best fits your needs and will offer you what you are looking for.

Coiltek Coils

When you have a Minelab metal detector, you will undoubtedly be interested in finding out about your selections and options for Coiltek coils. Choosing the right coil can mean the difference between going home empty handed and going home with a pocket full of coins, jewelry and nuggets. Let’s take a good look at the types of coils and then look at your specific options for Coiltek Coils for Minelab metal detectors.

Coiltek Coils Goldstalker Series

The first type of coil is a DD coil. This has several benefits for the user. First of all, it will offer less noise. The second benefit is that it will be able to handle ground mineralization in a better way, thus allowing you to be more successful. Now, the infiltration of a DD coil is that you do not need to overlap your sweeping as much as you would otherwise. However, it is important to keep in mind that it may be harder to get exactly on target with a DD. If you will be searching mainly for gold nuggets, you may be best with a DD, as it will handle that mineralization very well and do so quietly.

A Mono coil is much different than a DD, even if it is the exact same length. The Mono will go deeper. Nevertheless, you should keep in mind that in most cases, the Mono coil will give off more noise than the DD when the ground is very heavy with minerals. This will not allow your detector to properly use the discrimination features as it was meant to do. This type of coil is often best if you will be using your detector in the all metal mode. It will be very responsive to small gold nuggets and easy to make your targets. One of your options for a DD coil is the 15 inch WOT for the Explorer. It is fifteen inches and weighs about two pounds.

Coiltek 6 inch Round Coil

A Mono coil is more sensitive to small gold and is easier to pinpoint with. Most seasoned prospectors in the United States prefer mono coils over DD’s. There is also the 15 inch MOT coil for the Explorer which includes the shaft and is a bit more. The Joey DD coil is the standard coil for depth and makes it easy to get your target. The Platypus coil is elliptical and totally waterproof. There are also the lines of the Musketeer coils and the Ripper coil. Don’t forget about the salt, the Skippy and the Cobber. The Mother Ship coil was created for patch hunting and made so that you can connect it to your own design. The Wallaby is becoming very well liked and is a Mono coil. The UFO coil is very lightweight and the Big Red coil is known for give excellent coverage.

There are a lot of different companies out there that make metal detectors. Some of them are more well known than others. A few of them are even better quality than others. When I think of a brand of metal detectors that are better than the rest, I think of Minelab Metal Detectors. These are top of the line metal detectors that can help you find all the hidden treasures under the ground. There is a whole world of treasure right under our feet that we cannot see. It takes a good metal detector to help us get it. This is a fast growing hobby in the the United States of America.

Minelab E-Trac Metal Detector

If you are thinking of picking up a new hobby, then you may want to go out and get yourself a metal detector. Once you start looking for a metal detector, you are going to see that there are many different kinds out there that you can buy, some better than others. This is why it’s important to go with a name that you can trust, like Minelab. There metal detectors are state of the art and very easy to use. Some metal detectors are hard to figure out, and they make first time users go crazy.

Minelab Explorer SE

The Minelab Metal Detectors come with step by step booklets that tell you every thing that your new metal detector can do. However, if you have been using a metal detector for a long time, do not think that their metal detectors are just for people starting out.

Minelab Sovereign Metal Detector

These metal detectors are some of the best on the market and are going to pick up on things that your other metal detector may have missed.

When people think of using a metal detector, they think of a guy out on the beach looking for lost coins. In some cases this may be true, but that is not the real power of metal detectors. Using these things make it possible to find once grand treasures that have now become lost over time. Not only that, but they can also help you with other things. For example, have you ever wanted to build something in your yard, but you were afraid that you may hit an underground pipe? If you said yes, then I guess you wish you had a metal detector. Thats right, these metal detectors are not just for finding lost treasure, they are also good for everyday use. With a metal detector by your side, you are going to be able to do house hold projects that use to be too hard to do by yourself.

Minelab Excalibur

Many people are starting to get into using metal detectors as a hobby. I think this is because it’s fun, and you never know what you are going to find. That is the thrill of the hunt, and people love that feeling. However, people used to not get metal detectors, because they cost so much that it made it a hobby that very few people could do. Now, the price of metal detectors is dropping every day, and that makes it possible for people like you and me to go out there and get one of these great tools. Nothing feels better than to find something like a treasure. No longer do you have to watch people find treasure on TV, you can now do it yourself! So go out and get yourself a Minelab Metal Detector. You will be very happy you chose to do so. It is going to give you a good feeling.

One of the fastest growing past times in America is using metal detectors. This is something fun that you can do with your family and your friends. You can also do it by yourself for a little bit of down time. You never know what you are going to find, so that makes it very fun. However, one question that gets asked a lot is, “How do I find some land to detect on?” This is a great question, because you are not allowed to go out and detect on just any land you see. The good news is that there are a few places that you can go that allow you to detect on their land.

How Do I Find Some Land

Whenever you get into metal detecting you are more than likely going to start off on your own land until you figure out how to use it. Of course, there is only so much you are going to find on your own land, so now that brings up the question, “How do I find some land to detect on?” First of all, we have to point out that this is a very good question, because you can not detect and dig on all the land that you come across. So when looking for land to detect on there are a few places you can rule out right away. First of all, you can not detect on federal land unless you have permission from the government. Also, you can not detect on other people’s private property unless you have their permission. Pretty much what that means is that you can not go digging up your friend’s back yard just for the fun of it. You have to get the person’s permission first. This rule also goes for schools and colleges.

Now let’s talk about a few of the places that you can dig and detect on. First of all, as we talked about before, you can detect on your own land. This is because it’s your land, you can do whatever you want to it. Also, for the most part, you can dig on any beach. After all, we see people digging in the sand all the time. This is a really good place to get in some good metal detecting. You never know what you will find. In some cities you can even dig and detect in city parks unless it is otherwise posted. Just because you have to get permission from a place first, does not mean that you can not detect there. It just means you need to ask first. Most of the time people are not going to have a problem with you detecting on their land.

Metal detecting is fun. You just have to be able to find places to do it. The rule of thumb is, if you are not sure if you are allowed to dig or detect there, then you should more than likely ask first. It is always better to be safe than sorry. It would be bad to get in trouble for digging some place that you are not allowed to dig. The good news is that there are many places around the world for you to dig at. This means that you are going to be able to find lot of different things, in lots of different places. When you first start out it could be hard, but over time you will start to understand where and where not to dig.

Metal detectors come with a control box that contains the circuitry, controls, speaker, batteries and the microprocessor; a shaft that connects the control box and the coil; a search coil that actually senses the metal; and a stabilizer that keeps the unit steady as it is moved. The performances of the detectors are based on the features of these parts.

Fisher Metal Detectors
Dr. Gerhard Fisher, a German immigrant, obtained the first patent ever issued on aircraft radio direction finders in the late 1920s. Fisher’s 1266-X comes factory shipped with 8-inch Open Center Spider Coil, instruction manual and Fisher’s 5 Year Warranty. It has a duel discrimination system, which will allow you to search at a great depth. This unit does not work very well on wet saltwater beaches.

Garrett Metal Detectors
The Garrett Super Scanner hand-held detector can detect a medium-sized pistol from distance of 9″” and even a tiny 1” piece of jewelry. Simplicity of operation of this metal detector is unmatched. The Garrett SuperWand Security metal detector is one of the most popular metal detectors. It provides uniform sensitivity 360° along the scan area and pinpointing at the tip to detect weapons and other metal objects with extreme accuracy. The Garrett Magna Scanner PD 6500 Walk through metal detector has some unique features. Its ultra-enhanced multi-coil detection field pinpoints the exact location of any metal object within 33 distinct areas of the archway.

Bounty Hunter Metal Detectors
Bounty Hunter metal detectors are made by First Texas Products. The Tracker IV priced at $160 is streamlined in appearance, with only two operating controls and a mode selection switch. The Tracker IV has a built-in Automatic Ground Tracker that maintains ground balance. The Bounty Fast Tracker offers value for your money. It is a user-friendly instrument that delivers effective performance over a wide range of conditions and applications.

Minelab Metal Detectors
The Minelab Explorer II priced at approximately $1395 is a coin and jewelry detector with an operating frequency between 1.5 – 100 kHz. The signal travels deeper at a lower frequency and the signal detects objects close to the surface at a higher frequency. The Minelab Quattro MP, priced at approximately $1300, is suited for use in parks, beaches or the battlefields. Minelab’s FBS technology provides outstanding performance even on saltwater beaches…

Whites Metal Detectors
The Whites E-series metal detectors include the following models. DFX™ brings together the ultimate combination of sophisticated microprocessor technology, and turn-on-and-go simplicity. It has an operational frequency of 3 kHz and 15 kHz. The XLT® Metal Detector is high-performance simplicity and versatility at its best. It has five programs to choose from along with 10 Basic Adjustments, and 29 Pro Options. The MXT has three completely separate operating modes — gold prospecting, coin/jewelry, or relic.

Prizm series
The Prizm series include Prizm II, III, IV, and V. All have a pinpoint mode that zeroes in on target location, instruction videos that show when and where to hunt.

Tesoro Metal Detectors
At less than 2½ pounds, the Tesoro Golden Max lets you control what you want to find. It is the lightest detector in the market with full size depth, sensitivity, four tone audio ID and a user adjustable Notch Filter Discriminate. The Tesoro DeLeon is a Target Identification Detector (TID), named after the famous explorer Ponce de Leon, who searched Florida looking for treasure and the Fountain of Youth. The DeLeon is designed as an easy to use, turn-on-and-go detector.
